JUUL
Quick facts about America's JUUL phenomenon
One JUUL pod contains the same amount of nicotine as 20 cigarettes, making it highly addictive
Plugs into a USB port to charge, conveniently looks like a flash drive
Nicotine delivered in an aerosol, not a vapor. Vapor is water, aerosols are made up of particles and chemicals, most of which do not have sufficient research on long term effects
In August of 2017, JUUL comprised 24% of all e-cigarette sales, and by October of 2018, JUUL accounted for 75% of all e-cigarette sales.
